Husky Rescue new album The Long Lost Friend Out now

We’re proud to present some new music from Husky Rescue with the album “The Long Lost Friend – Special Edition” out today worldwide (excluding North America)! If you recognise the name of the album that’s because it’s a re-release of the album of the same name that got a VERY limited release last year, but this time we’ve expanded it and packed it full of new music and goodness. It’s so packed now that one CD wasn’t enough to contain it any more, now it’s a heavyweight TWO CD package with over 60 minutes of NEW music! Amongst the new gems is the music Husky Rescue did to soundtrack the New York exhibition by their friend and Husky Rescue cover supremo, Kustaa Saksi called “Hypnopompic.” We hope you enjoy it!

Our lovely North American friends will have to wait just a little longer with a full release due July this year.

And that’s not all! Husky Rescue are 10 years old this year (Happy Happy Happy Birthday!) and to celebrate Catskills Records will be re-releasing digital Collectors Editions of all of their previous albums on the label. Look for them to be released every week of May starting next Monday with Country Falls (4th May), Ghost Is Not Real (11th May) and Ship Of Light (18th May) – they will contain almost everything recorded, released and unreleased for each album all in one place with new covers designed by Kustaa Saksi. Look for them at the usual digital stores, but get them quick because they will only be available for 6 months! More details in the following weeks.
