How do we send our packages?
How do we send our packages? We use Royal Mail to deliver our packages. The postage rates depend on weight and size and are calculated at checkout. We use standard mail to ship UK orders and Economy for International orders. We don’t currently offer Recorded Delivery as standard.
Please note that all mixed orders of “In stock” and “Pre-Orders” will be shipped along with the Pre-Order on the Pre-Order release date. If you require separate deliveries please make separate orders.
We are as f*&ked off about Brexit as most people and it has complicated our mail order to the EU (and the rest of the World). Please be aware that any orders outside the UK may be liable to VAT and or customs duty. The recipient may then have to pay customs duty and/or VAT charges and a handling fee in the receiving country before they can claim the parcel.
Due to Brexit, we will see some changes to how we send items to Europe.
These will come into place from from January 1st 2021
As with other countries outside of the EU though, the customer maybe required to pay the tax on the item depending on their countries rules and regulations when importing items from abroad. This may cause delays in delivery times whilst items get cleared through customs.
All items exported will have to have their customs data supplied electronically. This will be handled by our integrated post systems.
We appreciate this change in service might be challenging but we will endeavour to make the process as easy and smooth as possible. Any changes to existing orders and subscriptions will be communicated before the change happens.
We’re sorry about this and understand if you’d prefer not to purchase from us. We voted to remain.
We use Economy as it’s currently the most economical and quickest route to send records overseas. We aim to deliver Economy to Europe in approximately 14 – 28 working days and to the rest of the world 3-8 weeks although often this is quicker. Please allow the full periods stated for delivery. If you wish to use a different method of postage please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll see if we can help somehow.
What happens if my goods don’t turn up?
If for any reason you haven’t received your order please don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll look into it asap.
If for any reason you’re not happy with your order please contact us on email@example.com and we’ll see if we can help resolve any issues. We will replace any items that have been damaged in transit within 14 days but we may request that you return it to us. If a replacement is not available we will issue you a full refund for the damaged goods. We will always try to make sure we ship your orders so they don’t get damaged.
Under the United Kingdom Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order up to 7 days after delivery as long as items are in their original condition and any shrinkwrap is still sealed. To cancel your order, please write ‘cancel order’ on the invoice and return the whole package to the address below. We advise you Recorded Delivery for any returns and ensure the items are securely packaged. If they are damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging we will be unable to issue a refund. After receiving the parcel we will refund your credit/debit card (excluding original shipping costs) within 30 days.
